Coach Diggs and WDBA have been equally invaluable and dedicated in helping me guide my son Amir Jones, Harvard-Westlake c/o 26 on his basketball journey. Providing the fundamentals of basketball and the details required for advanced/elite players; Coach Diggs developed Amir to a highly sought-after HS basketball player and student. His influence with Amir has registered in not only basketball but in character, and confidence. Coach has been able to advise me through the questions of AAU, HS Basketball, and College recruiting. Every bit of guidance, training and hoops have been sound, practical and led to Amir’s commitment to Georgia State to play D1 Basketball next year!

OUR SON WAS FAR BEHIND BEFORE WDBA     

Our son barely made his freshman basketball team and was far behind his peers in both skill and basketball IQ. When many programs weren’t willing to give him a real chance, we put him with Willie and we saw improvement almost immediately. Willie provided high-level instruction, real game opportunities, constant encouragement, and tough love when it mattered most. The growth was transformative. Today, our son is choosing between six college offers. Willie truly cares about the kids he works with and is deeply invested in their development, both as players and as people. We can’t recommend him highly enough.

Willie Diggs Basketball Academy has already made a meaningful impact on my 11-year-old son in a very short period of time. WHAT WILLIE WAS ABLE TO DO IN JUST 2HRS/WK WAS INCREDIBLE     

Becoming part of the WDBA program has been one of the best decisions our son has made. In 6th grade he decided that he was ready to focus more on basketball and started training with Willie Diggs 2 days a week and playing for a WDBA team. What Willie was able to do for him in just 2 hours a week was incredible and more than any coach could do in twice the time. His basic skills and fundamentals as well as his Basketball IQ improved very quickly. We saw big results in a short amount of time. We also noticed that his confidence was growing. Nothing could intimidate him anymore. He grew stronger physically and mentally. The individual attention that you get from this program is like no other in the area. Willie has a personal interest in every athlete that trains with him. He sees the potential in each player and has a unique way of bringing it out. Our son has been with Willie for 3 years now. WDBA has become a family for him. He has enjoyed every minute and has never looked back!

Our experience with the WDBA Academy was nothing short of incredible. My son was part of the academy from 6th grade through 12th grade, and the impact it had on both his basketball career and his personal growth is immeasurable. While the skill development and basketball IQ he gained were outstanding, what truly set WDBA apart was its focus on building character. The academy emphasized respect, discipline, hard work, and getting the very best out of each player — lessons that extended far beyond the court. I began working with the Willie Diggs Basketball Academy during the summer of 2020. During this time covid was very prominent and it was very hard to get in the gym. Willie and his staff took me in and as I began working out with them, my game reached new heights as I started on my varsity basketball team as a sophomore. I stayed with The Academy until my junior year of high school. I was taught endless amounts of information and my skill set would not have developed the same way without it.

To those of you in and around the Northern Virginia area and looking for a program where your kids will be loved and challenged and develop as players and as people - it gets no better than Willie Diggs Basketball Academy . It’s not for the faint of heart but for those who wants to see the best brought out of their kids. Never about wins or losses but about preparing them for tomorrow’s life challenges. I highly recommend it wholeheartedly and I guarantee your child and you will win in the end because of your association with the program. I’m speaking off of 25 years of coaching at the Division 1&2 college and high school level. I wish my boys could stay through graduation.
